Nitin is a Partner in the firm’s Real Estate practice and has over 11 years of experience advising clients on a wide range of complex real estate transactions. He advises real estate developers, private equity and investment funds, institutional investors, financial institutions, corporates and other stakeholders on acquisitions, investments, leasing, debt financing, joint development arrangements and strategic collaborations across a range of real estate asset classes.
His experience spans commercial, residential, retail, hospitality, warehousing and other emerging and alternative real estate asset classes. He regularly advises clients across India on title and legal due diligence, transaction structuring and other regulatory matters.
His practice covers the entire lifecycle of real estate transactions, from evaluating and structuring investments and development opportunities through to negotiation, execution and implementation. He has advised on transactions involving complex ownership, investment and development structures and multiple stakeholders, with a focus on identifying legal and commercial risks and developing practical solutions that are aligned with his clients’ objectives.
Nitin is known for his solution-oriented approach and his ability to combine legal expertise with a strong understanding of the commercial considerations underlying real estate transactions. He works closely with clients to navigate complex legal and regulatory issues, structure commercially viable transactions and protect their interests while facilitating successful execution.

Advised Sobha Realty in relation to its joint development arrangement with Asteroid Shelters, Atlaspur Construction & Developers and other stakeholders for development of a residential project in Greater Noida.
Advised Adani Group, through its subsidiary Manorview Developers, in relation to its joint development transaction with Paytm for development of an IT/ITES project on a land parcel in Noida.
Advised Bharti Enterprises and Warburg Pincus on their acquisition of a 49% stake in Haier Appliances India, including advising on real estate aspects of the transaction.
Advised Varde Partners on various real estate investments and financing transactions, including acquisition and financing of real estate projects, subscription to listed and unlisted debt instruments issued by various real estate companies and conducting of legal and title due diligence in relation thereto.
Advised Xander Group on various real estate investments, acquisitions and exits across India, including transactions involving commercial, industrial, IT/ITES and SEZ assets, and related legal and title due diligence.
Advised Virtuous Retail on (i) its transaction with the MGF group involving construction and development of a retail mall at Khyber Pass, New Delhi; and (ii) acquisition of 100% shareholding of TRIF Real Estate and Development Limited and TRIL Amritsar Projects Limited, which operate, lease and manage retail shopping malls in Nagpur and Amritsar, respectively.
Advised IKEA India Private Limited in relation to leasing of multiple retail and office spaces in mixed-use projects proposed to be developed in Gurugram and Noida.
Advised Sterling Biotech on its acquisition of land parcels in Bharuch and Vadodara, Gujarat.
Advised Ashiana Housing on its acquisition of leasehold rights over approximately 18 acres of land in Tamil Nadu.
Advised Havells on its acquisition of Lloyd Electric’s consumer durable business under the “Lloyd” brand.
