Ramya Suresh is a Partner in the General Corporate practice, specializing in mergers and acquisitions, venture capital, private equity, and structured investments. With almost 15 years of experience, she has built a diverse, sector-agnostic practice spanning energy, infrastructure, manufacturing, agri/dairy-tech, automobiles, media, e-commerce, e-pharmacy, ed-tech, IT/ITES, FMCG, real estate, non-banking finance, and defence.
Ramya has advised on domestic and cross-border transactions, including strategic buyouts, financial/institutional investments, joint ventures, court-approved mergers/demergers, business/asset transfers, and intra-group restructuring for both listed and unlisted companies. She also advises on company incorporation, employment laws, business expansions, internal policies, dealership and commercial contracts, employee disputes, service termination, VRS, online content regulations, and gaming laws.

Advised Brookfield on inter alia its collaboration with Acme Solar to build a 450 MW solar power project in Rajasthan.

Advised WPP on the India limb of sale of 60% of its global data research, consulting and analytics business (Kantar) to Bain Capital involving inter alia a court approved scheme of demerger.

Advised Peugeot SA on its acquisition of majority stake in Hindustan Motors and the Ambassador brand, and the Indian law aspects in its merger with Fiat Chrysler.
