Avirup is a Partner in the M&A and Energy & Infrastructure team at Saraf and Partners, and has nearly two decades of experience. He provides strategic counsel on M&A and PE deals to developers, companies, and investors, with specific focus on renewable energy, conventional power, roads/transport, e-mobility, agri-tech, chemicals and heavy industries.
Avirup also represents project developers and companies on project development contracts and regulatory issues. He drafts and negotiates complex contracts, including project development, long-term agreements, supply, operations, off-take, and concession contracts in the energy and infrastructure sectors.
Avirup’s expertise extends internationally, advising clients in India and jurisdictions like Bangladesh, Nepal, Mauritius, Bhutan, Maldives, and Sri Lanka.
