Saraf and Partners and WilmerHale jointly hosted a Fireside Chat at The Oberoi, New Delhi, as part of Delhi Arbitration Weekend 2025.

The evening opened with a keynote by Mr. Tushar Mehta (Solicitor General of India) on โ€œ๐‘๐ž๐ข๐ฆ๐š๐ ๐ข๐ง๐ข๐ง๐  ๐€๐ซ๐›๐ข๐ญ๐ซ๐š๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง & ๐Œ๐ž๐๐ข๐š๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง: ๐๐ฎ๐ข๐ฅ๐๐ข๐ง๐  ๐“๐ซ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ญ, ๐’๐ฉ๐ž๐ž๐ & ๐†๐ฅ๐จ๐›๐š๐ฅ ๐‚๐จ๐ฆ๐ฉ๐ž๐ญ๐ข๐ญ๐ข๐ฏ๐ž๐ง๐ž๐ฌ๐ฌ,โ€ followed by a candid discussion with ๐‡๐จ๐งโ€™๐›๐ฅ๐ž ๐Œ๐ฌ. ๐‰๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ญ๐ข๐œ๐ž ๐ˆ๐ง๐๐ฎ ๐Œ๐š๐ฅ๐ก๐จ๐ญ๐ซ๐š (Former Judge, Supreme Court of India), Mr. Kevin Nash (Director General, LCIA), and Mr. Steven Finizio (Partner, WilmerHale), moderated by our Founder and Managing Partner, Mr. Mohit Saraf.

The discussion delved into key challenges for corporate India, the benefits of institutional arbitration in providing structure and certainty, and ideas to enhance Indiaโ€™s dispute resolution ecosystem.

The occasion was widely attended by several eminent dignitaries, including former Judges of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India, including Justice Vikramajit Sen, Justice A.K. Sikri, Justice D.Y. Chandrachud (Former Chief Justice of India), Justice Sanjay Kishan Kaul, Justice Vineet Saran, Justice Ajay Rastogi, Justice Hemant Gupta, Justice Sanjiv Khanna (Former Chief Justice of India), Justice Hrishikesh Roy and Justice S. Ravindra Bhat.


Several sitting Judges of the Hon’ble Delhi High Court, including Justice Pratibha M. Singh, Justice Subramonium Prasad, Justice Anup J. Bhambhani, Justice Sachin Datta and Justice Tejas Karia, were also present, along with distinguished former Judges such as Justice Mukul Mudgal (Former Chief Justice, Punjab & Haryana High Court), Justice J.R. Midha, Justice Jayant Nath, Justice Najmi Waziri and Justice Rekha Palli.
