Our Partner, Sudeshna Guha Roy, participated in a panel discussion titled, “Strategic Resolution of M&A Disputes: The Role of State Courts and Other ADR Mechanisms,” hosted by Sage Mediation and IAMC Hyderabad in collaboration with Saraf and Partners as part of Singapore Convention Week (SC Week) 2026.
She joined a distinguished panel of practitioners comprising:

The discussion brought together transactional, valuation, mediation, and dispute resolution perspectives to examine the effective management of M&A disputes. Sudeshna shared insights on dispute strategy across the transaction lifecycle, addressing risk assessment and resolution mechanisms before contracting, after deal closure, and throughout the dispute process.
The session highlighted the importance of anticipating and addressing potential areas of conflict at the deal stage, and explored how courts, mediation, arbitration, and other ADR mechanisms can play a complementary role in resolving complex M&A disputes.
