Mohit Saraf joined a panel hosted by A&O Shearman to discuss India’s proposed arbitration law reforms at the LIDW 2025

At London International Disputes Week (LIDW) 2025, our Founder and Managing Partner, Mohit Saraf, joined a panel hosted by A&O Shearman to discuss India’s proposed arbitration law reforms.

The distinguished panel included Senior Advocate Gaurav Pachnanda SA (Fountain Court Chambers), Neeti Sachdeva (Secretary General and Registrar, Mumbai Centre For International Arbitration), and was moderated by Arun Mal (Senior Associate, A&O Shearman).

During the session, Mr. Saraf highlighted several challenges posed by the draft Arbitration and Conciliation (Amendment) Bill, 2024, including procedural complexity, overly rigid timelines, and lack of clarity around appeals and emergency measures.

His comments were featured in Bar and Bench’s  coverage of the panel.
