Raunaq brings over 15 years of experience in international and domestic arbitration, as well as commercial litigation. Her expertise spans shareholder and investment-related disputes, multi-jurisdictional matters, and complex issues in the infrastructure and oil & gas sectors.
Raunaq has significant experience in arbitrations under LCIA, ICC, and SIAC rules, in addition to ad hoc arbitral proceedings, and regularly appears before the Supreme Court of India and various High Courts. She is widely recognized for her strategic thinking, solution-oriented approach, and meticulous attention to detail.
Raunaq holds a B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) from Barkatullah University (formerly, Bhopal University) and an LL.M. in Business Laws from the National Law School of India University, Bangalore.

Represented McDonald’s Corporation in arbitration proceedings before the London Court of International Arbitration and in proceedings before the Supreme Court of India, the Delhi High Court, the National Company Law Appellate Tribunal and National Company Law Tribunal, relating to disputes in its joint ventures in India.

Represented IndiGo Airlines in arbitration proceedings before the London Court of International Arbitration and regulatory proceedings.

Represented a multinational mineral exploration and development company in claims under a bilateral investment treaty against the Government of India.

Represented a multinational telecommunications company in the United Kingdom in its shareholder disputes with Indian joint venture partners and acquisition of shares in the Indian joint venture.

Represented a leading multinational private healthcare group in disputes with third parties over interference in its Indian investments, including before the Tokyo District Court.

A global private equity firm in shareholder disputes, including in an international commercial arbitration before the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre and proceedings before the Supreme Court of India and Calcutta High Court.
